Have you ever wondered how all the loose ends would be pulled together?  In the past few months I have been watching God pull the connections of my life together in the most beautiful way. I look at it as a tapestry of faith.

I marvel at how God orders our steps and directs our lives. We are rarely aware the significance of events as they happen or people that our paths cross.

Do you believe that God has a purpose for your life? Look around you. Examine the people and look deeply. Realize they are made in the image of God, as you are. You may not see it now, but these that you are reaching may one day in fact be a needed blessing to you in the days and even years to come.

Cast your bread upon the water.

I recently was made aware of a young couple I know were in the midst of transition. I called them told them I was praying in their behalf and gave a few names to contact. As I was getting off the phone, this person said to me, "I really appreciate it." My response to him was, "I have always heard it said, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If I were in your situation I would want someone to help me."

As I pondered this, I realize that I have many times been in this situation in some degree and God has always had someone there to help. I want to encourage you to help those you know you can. Don't be so wrapped up in your own life that you neglect to do good things for others.

It will come back to you. Without doubts in time every good thing you do will come rolling back into your life. The other day, not sure how it came up, but my wife and I were talking about what we want people to say about us when we are 80 years old. I told her, "I want people to cry when I die." It would be my desire that I could be a blessing to people that when I am gone, I would be missed. If you come to my funeral fifty years from now, don't shout, bring a box of tissues.

All jesting aside, the same God that orders the events of morning and evening, orders your steps every day. The days are so regulated that you can set your clock to it and track it on a calendar. This same God is doing what he can to order your affairs if you will work with him, wait on him and trust him.

Life with all of it's connections and circumstances are the substance that our life is made of.

Almighty God will pull all of this together, what you thought of as loose ends and scattered moments to assemble a wonderful picture that is your life.

Be encouraged enough to encourage someone else. Blessings we give have strings attached. They will come back to you when you need them most.

Master of Spiritual Awareness $60

This is a great course based on the book, The Celestine Prophecy. In this 20 week course, you will enhance your spiritual awareness and clarity. The course is interesting and informative.

Insights into Awareness is based on the teachings of James Redfield's Celestine Prophecy and Dr. King's own ministerial courses, and is structured to assist the minister in becoming more in tune with the Higher Light of Awareness by presenting a series of lessons structured to assist him or her in learning techniques for spiritual growth for personal spiritual enrichment and to use the techniques offered with the members of the congregations and Circles to give them the tools to live more spiritually aware.

The foundation of the course comes from material based on the Celestine Prophecy, a teaching novel written by James Redfield, which contains The Nine Insights and is devoted to a particular revelation into the actual essence and meaning behind Life on this planet, a body of spiritual truths found in the reservoir of Native America teaching and on the spiritual teachings of Dr. King and is presented to those who are searching for a meaning to life that goes beyond that of simple survival and financial concerns in everyday life.

These teachings also predict a massive transformation to take place in human society in the last decades of the Twentieth Century and on into the next Millennium. According to the Insights, this transformation will be a kind of Renaissance in consciousness, and will occur very slowly. It is not 'religious' in nature, but it is spiritual.

Through these "Insights" we are discovering something new about human life on this planet -- about what our existence here really means and entails -- and this knowledge will begin to alter human events and culture dramatically forever. With this course you will be learning techniques to assist you to grow in spiritual awareness, and to bring this knowledge to the members of your congregations and Prayer Circles to help them to learn to live more spiritually in a state of aware balance with the everyday stresses of modern living.

The Scapegoat

The Scapegoat (noun) means somebody made to take the blame or wrongly blamed.

Today 3 May 05; I went to a military meeting with a General and other officers pertaining to an inspection I did on my unit and another unit. Let me give you some history on the inspection. About two weeks ago I was doing an inspection in a military game and I found a great deal of items that needed to be looked into and changed. I found some outdated actions and found that our unit was not playing with other units the way they should. Throughout the inspection I would check back with the Chief inspector before I did anything about what I found. The Chief Inspector would tell me what to do and told me to press on with what I was doing. Then on the day that all the inspectors bring their findings to the table I received a shocker. I was told that all my findings were dismissed because the units I inspected was not playing the game properly. Then I was told that I inspected the unit wrong and I became the scapegoat that was placed on the plate for the unit to look at. Never once did I tell anyone that the Chief Inspector gave me the right away to inspect the different units and to write up my findings.

Wrongly blamed for others I became very bitter and lost my self esteem. I continued to talk to myself over and over and tried to tell myself that I should dismiss everything that took place. I spoke to God about how he would not give me a promotion and then I would remember that God gave me many promotions in the past. I told myself that my parents did not want me and how my life was a disgrace. I also told myself that I could not preach or be a minister for God because my life literally sucked. Then I would remember that God has been good to me and blessed me over and over. I have been become my own self inject poison tongue viper. Then, I read my favorite quote on the wall of my office:

Be joyful always;

Pray continually;

Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God?s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Do not put out the Spirit?s fire;

Do not treat prophecies with contempt.

Test everything. Hold on to the good

Avoid every kind of evil

1 Thessalonians 5 V16-22

Never let others use you as a scapegoat but if they do, remember that God has your back and you must never let anyone steal your joy. ?For this is the day that the Lord has made and I will be glad and rejoice in it?. Amen and may God receive the Glory.

Now, the burden has been lifted and my joy has returned.

This is one of the finest courses of the Seminary. You'll be amazed at the level of understanding you will get from this course.

--This class is a required course for graduation from the ULC Seminary.

--If you are a Christian, you are probably taking this course because you want to learn more about the words and deeds of Christ. You might want to gain an understanding of the teachings and perhaps hope to feel closer to God.

--Even if you?re not a Christian, the life and teachings of Christ represent some valuable life lessons, just as do those of other well-known prophets. We may have classes on those in the future, if there are requests for it.

--Those teachings are also used as a basis for many things in our culture. Phrases, concepts, ways of thinking about things, etc. There are also a lot of political things that go on, which relate to biblical teachings, even though people don?t necessarily know that that's where they stem from.

--You'll see a lot of familiar concepts when we talk about the Sermon on the Mount. Part of your job, when you study the material, is to recognize:

* what the meanings are of the teachings in relationship to your life,

* where those teachings permeate society.
